Valley Youth Theatre offers some supreme training for your actors-to-be, who can learn from the pros who taught starlets like Jordin Sparks. Summer classes include acting, music and dance. Students learn character development, movement, improvisation, voice training, audition skills, story building and theater terminology. Young dancers can shake their groove thing at the Scottsdale Dance Academy’s Workshop during summer break in courses that include ballet, modern dance, flamenco and jazz. Beginning to advanced dancers learn from faculty who have performed and taught around the world.
