August, 2011 (Scottsdale, Ariz.)- This October and November, thousands of businesses, professionals and individuals will duke it out for the top spots in AZFoothills.com's annual Best Of Our Valley Web contest- determining the greatest in more than 150 categories like Best Salon, Most Influential Man in the Valley, Best Chips & Salsa and Best Hike. 

The annual Tucson's Best contest showcases the greatest businesses and individuals in Tucson, as chosen by those who really know- our AZFoothills.com readers. This promo involved Web voting for a two-month period to determine the favorite in more than 100 categories, like Best Slice, Best Master-Planned Community, Most Glamorous Place to Party and more.

From March 1 to April 30, readers could vote once daily for each category, and all businesses were given printable flyers and digital logos to promote themselves with in their shops and online. The one person with the most total votes ended up being Emily Guggenmos with KVOA, who won her category of Best Weekend Newscaster. She will be on the cover of a special edition of Arizona Foothills Magazine distributed in Tucson.

March 18, 2011 (Scottsdale, Ariz.)—AZFoothills.com's Blog Network is about to get much more bloggy. AFM's six blogs, which are updated frequently, are about to have eight new friends. That's right, AFM readers will soon have fourteen blogs to read. What's more, these new blogs are about to be updated much more frequently- some two to three times daily- for a constant stream of up-to-the-hour luxury Arizona news.
