The Valley of the Sun has some of the hottest temperatures in the nation, which makes summer pool parties a no-brainer. Enjoy the weekend at one of the hottest clothing-optional locations in Scottsdale and Phoenix: Spanish Fly, El Santo Cantina, The Hotel Valley Ho, The W Hotel, The Clarendon Hotel and Talking Stick Resort and Casino.
Spanish Fly
Spanish Fly has become an Old Town staple since its debut in 2011. It emerged as the first pool-bar in the entertainment district, but seemed like something that should have been there all along.
With resort-style lounging the bar creates a hidden oasis atmosphere, somewhat closed-off from the main street it sits on.
It hosts nights like Thursday Night Swim, Sunday Funday and has a popular daily happy hour. The bar carries the Scottsdale party-scene vibe, go if you’re looking to socialize and party!

The Saguaro is located in the heart of Old Town. Its bright color palette mixed with its Arizona theme, gives the hotel a 1960’s vagabond with a modern twist vibe. The Saguaro has one of the most relaxing pools in the city. Walking paths and green grass perimeter the long, rectangular pool. Bright yellow lounging and umbrellas complimented by bright coral towels gives the pool a feeling of excitement!
The hotel offers a unique Swim & Spa package. Local residents of Scottsdale can enjoy the luxuries of the hotel’s pool and fitness center, along with workout classes, guided local hikes and tours and discounts at the hotel’s restaurant and spa for a six month membership of $125 and an annual membership of $225. Act quickly because this special spa and swim package price is only valid through May 31st!

El Santo Cantina
El Santo Cantina is a patio bar meets restaurant with an occasional day club vibe. Complete with a Mexican resort-style theme; summer days at El Santo will feel more like spring break than summer in Scottsdale.
Nestled in the heart of The Scottsdale Quarter, El Santo is 25,000 square-feet of: pool, dinning, bar, patio, cabanas, and even a waterfall.
This summer the Cantina partnered with Relentless Beats for Relentless Beach. The reoccurring event will bring in a big name DJs like Laidback Luke and Bingo Players, with the season kick-off on April 14 with Fedde Le Grande.

The W Scottsdale
The W’s WET pool is a self-described “beach-theme.” The pool is chic, modern and includes cabanas, lounging pods, daybeds and private cabanas. DJs spin weekend-long from 12- 5 p.m.
Located in the heart of Old Town The W’s pool is never short of crowd. The pool is typically full of Scottsdale-locals and ASU students. That combined with popular bars located within 100 feet of the hotel can make the pool busy on the weekends. Check weekly events before you go!

Clarendon Hotel
Winner of 2012’s Best Hotel Pool in Phoenix by The Phoenix New Times, the Clarendon’s pool ignites excitement and relaxation.
Brightly colored Italian tile murals with 24K platinum and gold accents, fountains and a two-story water-wall give the pool a modern-luxury vibe.
Located in Phoenix, the Clarendon is much quieter than the pool parties of Scottsdale. There are no major events or liquor sponsors present, making it perfect for couples and friends looking to get some genuine one-on-one time. For those of you unfortunate enough to have to work from home on the weekend but still want to go out. The Clarendon offers free Wi-Fi!

Talking Stick Resort
The Talking Stick Resort and casino hosts a summer pool series on Saturdays. The season kicks-off on Cinco de Mayo weekend. Last year the resort was home to one of the best day parties in town, featuring banging acts from dance music DJs.
The resort has two pools, one is equipped with a poolside bar. The great thing about a day at Talking Stick is the centralized entertainment; if you need a break from the sun you can hit the tables in the casino or check out one of the resorts restaurants.
