Ever since I booked my appointment at Sparkle Bar in Downtown Scottsdale, I’ve been eagerly awaiting the day it would come. When I walked in, I was greeted by warm smiles and welcomed into their adorable space. I was then offered a refreshing beverage, delicious treat, and guided to my chair where the magic would soon begin.  It is easy to see how much work went into their studio. From the chic choice of wallpaper to the gorgeous flowers spread throughout the salon, I already knew this would be an amazing experience.

Before my application I had the pleasure of talking to the two founders, Alexandra Bradberry and Leiah Scheibel. Bradberry spoke to me of the day she and Scheibel decided The Sparkle Bar should be created. She had a frustrating experience at a department store for a make-up application and decided that something needed to change. Their dream was to create a full-service make-up studio that would only focus on make-up application and would not include hair or nail services, or any retail products to sell. They knew if they cut everything else out of the equation that they could create a salon solely focused on perfect make-up application.

The Sparkle Bar menu ranges in services that start at $20 and can go up to $150. This allows you to either come in for the whole shebang and receive a full-face application or just pop in for a “Blush Rush” and have your eyes, cheeks, and lips touched up for an occasion. They have a wide variety of high-end products that include brands like Bobbi Brown, Make Up For Ever, Shiseido, Laura Mercier and more.

The girls at The Sparkle Bar are flawless inside and out. Their goal is to make sure you leave “sparkling” which means even more beautiful than when you walked through the doors. I left with a gorgeous makeover and honestly, even, higher self-confidence. I will not forget this experience and cannot wait to book my next appointment.
