Boom tells the story of a female journalism student, Jo, who answers an ad promising a casual adult encounter. What the student really encounters is the lab of a nutty marine biologist, Jules, and hilarity ensues. The show goes on the explore the dynamics of fate and human contact, using an wild assortment of props, including a very important fish tank.

This humorous social satire explodes on stage starring Sam Wilkes as Jules, Kerry McCue as Jo, and Cathy Dresbach as Barbara. Boom is directed by Ron May (A View of the Harbor, Columbinus). The production team includes: Kara Thomson, scenic design; Lois Myers, costume design; Paul Black, lighting design; Benjamin Monrad, sound design; and April S. Smith, stage manager.
