Why: Multi-talented comedian, writer, director and producer Paul Rodriguez, has been making audiences laugh for nearly three decades. His one-of-a-kind brand of humor, blending stories of his Latin heritage and his achievement of the American dream, will have fans laughing until it hurts when he performs in Talking Stick Resort’s showroom on July 27.

Rodriguez’s comedy seamlessly crosses language barriers, as he had traveled the world performing in both Spanish an English. In addition to starring in more than 45 films including “Bloodwork,” Beverly Hills Chihuahua” and “Crocodile Dundee in LA,” he is currently the host of “Mis Videos Locos with Paul Rodriquez,” on Tr3s: Música y Más. He also recently wrote and performed his first ever, one-man show, “Just for the Record,” a tell all theatrical piece about his childhood.

Most recently, the release of his new stand-up DVD, “Comedy Rehab” has received rave reviews.
