THE SCOTTSDALE ARTS FESTIVAL

The 43^rd Scottsdale Arts Festival will be bubbling over with art and super-clean fun, quite literally, with Baltimore artist Scott Pennington’s incredible Pink and Blue Dilemma: The Foam Incident.

Presented in collaboration with Scottsdale Public Art, this interactive art installation invites visitors to play with water-based soap suds that spill from a colorful factory as Pennington’s pink-and-blue-clad ‘technicians’ attempt to contain the flood of bubbles. Thirty-minute-long ‘foam incidents’ will occur five times a day throughout the Scottsdale Arts Festival, which runs Friday, Saturday and Sunday, March 8–10.

Named one of the top arts festivals in the nation by the readers of AmericanStyle Magazine and “Best Arts Festival” by Phoenix New Times, the Scottsdale Arts Festival features more than 175 jury-selected artists from throughout the United States and Canada, continuous live music and entertainment on two stages, gourmet food trucks from the Phoenix Street Food Coalition, creative activities for kids at the Imagine Nation family area, free admission to Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art (SMoCA) and much more.

The Scottsdale Arts Festival is presented by Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts and takes place on the beautiful grounds of Scottsdale Civic Center Park.
