Events: Arizona - Phoenix - Scottsdale

Run to Fight Children's Cancer, scheduled Saturday, March 9, is a lively and inspirational event that strives to raise awareness and funds for childhood cancer. The event brings runners and spectators to the Phoenix campus of Grand Canyon University, offering hours of family-friendly fun including jump castles, arts and crafts, music, professional sports team mascots and other entertainment. Proceeds from the race will benefit Phoenix Children's Hospital and the Children's Cancer Network.

The Run, which kicks off at 7:30 a.m., is held on a flat, fast course around Grand Canyon University and the surrounding neighborhood. It includes a 10K run, a 5K run/walk and a quarter-mile Cancer Survivors' Walk held after both races are completed. All 5K and 10K runners are encouraged to cheer on the survivors during their walk to the finish line.
