Art Weekend at Arizona Center

Celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Art Detour March 1-2 at Arizona Center in Downtown Phoenix.  Local artists and artisan vendors will be showcasing their work in the main courtyard available for “show and sell” each day. Artists include more than 20 hand-picked illustrators from Arizona Center’s recent “Call for Artists” campaign, which includes wood-workers, jewelers, print makers and more. A handful of local and regional bands will be preforming live music in the grotto for your listening pleasure. There will also be an assortment of live dance performances by Tolleson Ballet Folklorico de Mexico and Flemenco Por La Vida. Canyon Café, Mi Amigos, Corner Bakery and Sushi Kokoro will be offering specials in spirit of the event.

Danu at Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts

Get into the spirit of celebrating Irish heritage with Danu at the Scottsdale Center for the Performing arts for a night of traditional music and song influenced by the rich culture of Ireland. Band members have been performing together since 1995 and have played a handful of honorable events including the launch of Ireland’s Presidency ceremony in 2004.

CitySolve Urban Race

Get all the excitement of “The Amazing Race” packed into one day at the CitySolve Urban Race in Phoenix. The scavenger hunt will take teams on unmarked checkpoints, allowing you to explore Phoenix, trekking through Downtown, Uptown and places you have never experienced before. On the sensational urban adventure teams will solve clues ranging from pop culture to math to American history, anagrams, Sudoku and much more.
