Labor Day is drawing near and that means the unofficial end of summer is approaching. However, if you're an Arizonan, that is definitely not the case.

My sons and I have been indoors most of the summer, daydreaming of cooler temps.  It's JUST TOO DANG HOT. Besides playing in the pool, we've had to entertain ourselves at the library, the mall, or venturing on vacation. ANYTHING to beat the heat.

With that being said, we are entering the most perfect time of year in AZ--less than hundred degree temps making for a beautiful (but still warm) fall. So in honor of September, I thought it would be fun to highlight three mom-worthy styles we can still sport here in the Valley.

1. Latest obsession: Native Shoes

My girlfriend's toddler was wearing these shoes, and I immediately was drawn to their versatile, cool, and comfortable look. When I researched the company, I came to find they not only make kids shoes, but shoes for adults as well. Consider these the new and much cuter Crocs. (BTW, I'll feature the kid shoes in another piece--this one is dedicated to on-the-go moms.)

These slip-on shoes are waterproof, washable, shock absorbant, and odor resistant. My style of choice: The Verona, pictured (above) in Regatta Blue/Bone. They do NOT cause blisters; in fact, you can wear them like sneakers: every day. They can be purchased online or at retailers like Nordstrom. Great for summer and fashionable for fall!

2. Super cool apparel: Del Sol

Why I like this company...it's different. Yes, they sell plenty of kids clothes, but they also make attire for mom. The Utah-based company is super innovative, having engineered a proprietary Spectracrhome color-changing technology they use in all their products (color changing nail polish, T-Shirts, jewelry, backpacks, sunglasses and more). In simpler terms, the Spectrachrome crystals reveal their hidden colors when exposed to sunlight. (Yes, the clothes change color based on the weather.)

My pick is the beach cover up. The slip-on dress is cute, cozy, and perfect for poolside lounging or hanging around the house. (Also convinient for nursing moms.)

And just for you, Del Sol is offering a 20% discount on all orders, expiring 9/19/15.

3. Adorable Tanks: Enjoy Essentials

I love a good mom-infused entrepreneurial story.

Enjoy Essential was started in 2013 when designer Cady started making iron-on onesies as a hobby. Her Etsy store blew up, and has since turned into a booming business. And for every shirt purchased, a meal is donated to a family in need.

Enjoy Essential offers an array of fabulous tank with fun designs, quotes, and prints, but my fave (go figure), is the Super Mom Boy Mama tank. Yes, this one is for you, my fellow awesome moms of boys! It has a flattering loose fit and comes in blue, grey, and black.

Enjoy!
