Montelucia Resort & Spa is spreading holiday cheer this season with its outdoor film series “Sunset Cinema, A Holiday Affair,” continuing December 4 at 6:00 p.m. with a screening of Elf.  If you have not yet been, I suggest attending. This is the third movie in their holiday series and the first two have received rave reviews.

Guests are invited to gather in the resort’s Cortijo Plaza, where their favorite holiday movies will be played under the stars. A menu of specialty hot cocoas will be available along with a variety of gourmet-flavored popcorn (including gingerbread spice and chestnut with cinnamon) and other holiday-inspired treats such as  gingerbread pretzels with assorted icing dips.

Admission is free and open to both locals and resort guests. Guests are encouraged to dress warm and arrive early as space is limited. Seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
