HOT Summer Sips From Around the Country

Many Valley Dwellers leave these hot summer months for traveling while others stay in Phoenix and party a little more than usual. We have found some interesting summer cocktails from cities around the country! Whether you’re on a jet plane, hopping city to city, or want to recreate these delish concoctions for your backyard pool party, we’ve got you covered!
Grape Escape
From: Borgata, Atlantic City, New Jersey
2 oz Three-O Purple Vodka
4 oz Lemonade
Splash of Grenadine
*Mix all ingredients and pour over ice. Garnish with a skewer of grapes.
The Casa Del Matador
From: Casa Del Matador, Portland, Oregon
1 ¾ oz Sauza Tequila Gold
¾ oz Triple Sec
¾ oz Sour Mix
1/3 oz Orange Juice
1/3 oz Cranberry Juice
*Put all ingredients into a shaker with ice and shake. Strain into a salt-rimmed tumbler.
Lime Sherbert Twist
From: Metaphor, New York City
1 c Milk
4 T Sugar
1/3 C Lime Juice
2 ¼ oz Tequila
Zest from 1 Lime
Dash of Seltzer
*Warm the milk and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat until the sugar dissolves. Let cool completely and add the lime juice, zest ada half of the tequila. Freeze the mixture. Once solid, pour remaining tequila over the frozen mix and stir. Pour in glass and top with seltzer.
