The old Hotel Theodore formerly known as The Mondrian Scottsdale and The James Hotel once again has a new identity. Utilizing an iconic Scottsdale favorite, The Drinkwater; this comes from the hotels location on Drinkwater Boulevard, which was named after our beloved four-term mayor, Herb Drinkwater.
The hotel was snapped up by Joie De Vivre Hotels in February. The Scottsdale spot will be the companies first outside of California.
The place is currently undergoing some “re-imagination” to showcase the spirit of the Southwest. When it reopens in the fall you can expect two indoor/outdoor bars, a new restaurant concept, 5,000 square feet of meeting and event space and two swimming pools plus a pool bar.
It looks like Scottsdale will soon boast some of the infamous concepts that make cities like LA, Las Vegas and Chi Town a non-stop party!
Coming in October. More info to follow.
