Year after year Scottsdale Culinary Fest is one of the most attended events in our community.  Always a place to be seen, whether guests attend for the prime cuisine, spring fashions or VIP after parties,  once the new year approaches many Valley dwellers are already counting down days until the start of the Scottsdale Culinary Fest. The 2012 dates are April 17-22. This year, to relinquish your hankering for the upcoming festival, pre-sale tickets go on sale starting January 10th, with a few rewards for those that purchase tickets early.

Every guest that purchases tickets early to shows with celebrity chefs Adam Richman or Andrew Zimmern will receive a free subscription to Travel + Leisure Magazine for one year and free GAP admission. Anyone purchasing tickets over $50 will receive a free subscription to Food & Wine Magazine for one year.

If you’re not interested in experiencing the top celebrity chefs in town, the Great Arizona picnic has additional options for family and friends. Imagine the largest community picnic you’ve ever seen. With 50+ food and beverage exhibitors in the picture perfect setting of Old Town Scottsdale, that is exactly what you have in the Great Arizona Picnic. All your traditional favorites can be found here from finger-licking BBQ to mouthwatering pizza to oh-so-delicious burgers and dogs. Not traditional? No problem. You can also find Mexican, Asian, Indian and Mediterranean cuisine at this Picnic. The best part, all the food is sample sized so you don’t have to choose between the taco you’ve been craving and the crab cake you’ve been dying to try. Unlike your family get togethers, the Great Arizona Picnic also offers the opportunity to listen to live music on three different stages, explore five specialty areas and a VIP area.

Other specific events will offer reduced ticket pricing. These include:

  • Great American Picnic -$2.50 savings
  • Best of the Fest – $25 savings
  • Wine Country Brunch – $10 savings
  • Friends of James Beard – $25 savings
