Today the medical marijuana advocacy group Compassion First Caregiver Circle will host a free 420 Jam Concert at the Madison Events Center in Phoenix. The mission of the CFCC 420 Jam Concert is to spread the word about the necessity to decriminalize marijuana in the state of Arizona and across the nation.
For 51 weeks of the year our sole focus is medical marijuana. During this special week for the broader marijuana decriminalization effort, Compassion will demonstrate solidarity with those decriminalization efforts. “We hope to utilize the popularity of the April 20th date to get our message out about our stance on the decriminalization of marijuana, period,”said Kendric Speagle, Managing Partner of Compassion First Caregiver Circle.
Friday’s 4/20 event is open to state certified patients and those seeking state patient certification ages 18+ and will present various live performances by Live Jazz, Blues, Rock, Reggae, hip-hop artists and DJ’s with special appearances by Property 6 and Sen Dog of Cypress Hill. Between each performance, distinguished industry speakers that will discuss the state of the MMJ industry in Arizona, the process of decriminalization and a breakdown of how drug laws affect the average person. Patients with valid AZDHS cards may be allowed to medicate during the event and state certification services will also be available on site.
