This past weekend I discovered a new restaurant. Although it’s not new to Phoenix, I hadn’t had the opportunity to enjoy this almost-secret spot in town.
Located off Washington and 3rd, directly across from Dback’s stadium and near Phoenix Symphony Hall, Kincaid’s has a menu filled with seafood, chops and fresh vegetable sides. Their lounge, bar and dining room offers patrons an old-school, classy ambiance. I particularly liked the over-sized patio. Since this restaurant is on the second floor, the patio offers a unique view of down town Phoenix. Pair the view with comfy, oversized couches and chairs plus fire pits and it’s a perfect night!
My experience was made complete with the discovery of a new cocktail. A specialty on their bar menu, my server suggested the Lavender Cosmo. I am now obsessed! Not too sweet nor too strong, this cosmo with a twist is perfect for day or night. The sugared glass and purplish color make the drink oh-so-sexy.

Absolut Mandrin vodka, Marie Brizard Parfait Amour, fresh lime sour, lavender sugar
I suggest heading over just for this cosmo. Happy hour is everyday from 4pm to close in the lounge.
