A peek inside the home that former 35 year old baseball pitcher, Joe Saunders lived in with his wife Shanel in Phoenix, shows several of the player’s memorabilia. Joe's career is evident throughout the home, as in the bar area shown above. Now, the home has a new owner who just paid  $3,165,000 for the almost 9,000 square-foot abode.

Joe, who once played with the Arizona Diamondbacks, also played with  the Los Angeles Angels, Seattle Mariners, Baltimore Orioles. He most recently played in the minor leagues with the Seattle Mariners in 2015. He opted out of his minor league deal with the Mariners on May of 2015.

It’s also interesting that the six-bedroom home built in 2007, has an industrial kitchen.

There are eight bathrooms, a huge wine cellar, a media and game room, and a restaurant style wet bar. 

 Not only is the large wine cellar impressive, but this contemporary showpiece has telescoping glass doors off the common rooms with views of Camelback Mountain.

 The property includes a one-bedroom guests quarters with a separate entrance.

And the pool and spa also has fabulous mountain views.
