Earth Day at Main Gate Square
The University of Arizona Main Gate Square will host an afternoon of live entertainment, activities for the whole family, and interactive environmental demonstrations in honor of Earth Day. The event, from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., is free and open to the public. Bring the kids to Main Gate Square and enjoy an afternoon of education and fun.
Stars Under the Stars Movie Night
At 7:30 p.m. on the Cascade Terrace of Loews Ventana Canyon, a tribute movie night to Bette Davis will take place. Guests can catch the 1962 flick, What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? while enjoying good food, cocktails, and service that is offered on the terrace. This Friday evening completes the Stars Under the Stars month-long event.
Rialto Theatre will feature Andrew Bird and Laura Marling at 8 p.m. Bird, a folk rock singer and songwriter, adds soul and depth to his music that is unlike any other folk rock artist. Help Bird celebrate the release of the Break It Yourself album and enjoy an evening of music and fun.
