Face of the Foothills Casting Call
The Face of the Foothills 2013 competition is well underway, and Tucsonans have a shot at the title on Saturday. From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., interested contestants are invited to get their picture taken and enter the contest at La Encantada. Guests who attend the casting call event will be provided with an extra bonus 1,000 votes for a leg up on the competition.

50th Old Tucson Dragway Hot Rod Reunion
Any pre-1973 hot rod, drag car, custom or classic cruiser is welcome at Southwestern International Raceway from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. for the annual hot rod reunion. Tickets are $10, and free for ages 11 and under. Live music and fellow hot rod lovers will be present. Proceeds benefit the Humane Society of Southern Arizona.

Silver and Turquoise Ball
The Arizona Inn hosts the 67th annual black-tie event. The event will feature a gourmet dinner, mingling, and dancing under the stars. Tickets are $250, and proceeds will help to restore Mission San Xavier del Bac. Reservations are necessary.

Body and Sol: Old Pueblo Women’s Expo
Casino del Sol will host the Body and Sol women’s event. The event will feature hands-on workshops, motivational and inspirational speakers, seminars, presentations, live music, tequila tasting, and more than 100 women-focused exhibits. Tickets are $15 each.
