Dog Daze of Summer
The Humane Society of Southern Arizona and Jane Hamilton Fine Art are teaming up to put on an event that features puppies for adoption and whimsical dog paintings by Louis Mason. The event, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., takes place at Jane Hamilton Fine Art on Skyline Drive. The event is free and dogs are welcome.

A Taste of Tuscany
The Tucson Farmers’ Markets are celebrating the summer harvest with a party of tomato, basil and garlic. The celebration includes a pizza-making demonstration with Chef Engel Fabian at Jesse Owens Park Farmers’ Market.

Reptile Ramble
Docents will present characteristics of snakes and lizards, the differences between the species, and the roles that each serves in the Sonoran Desert at 10 a.m. at Tohono Chul Park. The interactive presentation will feature a walk around the park, and is $8 per person, with discounts for children and military members.
