I would say that 6 out of 7 days of the week I am in a rush in the morning…Yes even on the weekends. So when I only have an hour to get ready because I have some how over slept I need some beauty products on hand that serve more than one purpose. The idea of a multi tasking product only occurred to me recently when I discovered Philosophy’s 3-in-1 shampoo, shower gel, and bubble bath product at the store when I was looking to a buy a new body wash. I was dumbfounded as I stood there thinking “what a fabulous idea—ingenious!”
A product working double duty isn’t an entirely new idea, I mean my husband could use one product for his hair, body wash, shaving cream, and face wash—no wonder it only takes him 20 minutes to get ready. Korres has created a 3 in 1 Cleansing, Toning and Eye Make-up emulsion. I have personally tried this and I love it. The emulsion is thick, creamy, and leaves your skin squeaky clean and amazingly soft. They’ve even taken it one step further so you don’t have to… you can use this product without water. How’s that for saving time, you don’t even need a sink. Though I do recommend this product because it is free from parabens, Sulfates, synthetic dyes among other harmful chemicals it is ideally suited for those with dry skin.
Birdy Botanicals is another natural skincare line that offers organic products, many of which are 3-in-one products. The one I find most exciting is the Hydrating Lotion Jelly that can be used as a moisturizer for normal or oily skin types, a hydrating and soothing face masque and a soother for after shaving…goodbye razor burn hello silky smooth legs!
Lorac’s 3-in-1 Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil is a creamy eyeliner that provides rich color. It also has its own sharpener and smudger attached. No more dumping out your makeup bag along with every bathroom drawer trying to find your pencil sharpener.
The NARS Multiple is my absolute favorite of the three-in-ones I’ve mentioned. This multipurpose makeup stick is a cream-to-powder that can be used to highlight, sculpt, add color to the cheeks, eyes, and lips and even act as a pretty body shimmer. Okay so it is more like an all-in-one. It comes in several shades ranging from shimmery pink to a golden brown sheen…stick a couple in your purse and you can do your makeup on the way to work or school (of course only if you are not driving).
