Next week will prove to be an exciting time for car lovers as the Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction takes over Westworld of Scottsdale from January 15th to 22nd. You may be wondering why I am talking about a car auction on a style blog, but didn’t you know that where there are beautiful cars there is beautiful fashion? Well now you do!
This year the car auction will be hosting a myriad of events for the fashionably savvy woman to attend in the Barrett-Jackson Life Style Pavilion. Everything from a Celebrity Martini Mix-Off to “Catwalk-for-a-Cause.” So now that you know where you’ll be next week the only question that remains is, “What will you be wearing to Barrett-Jackson?”
Whether you are accompanying a car-loving male to the auction or hanging out with your girlfriends in the Pavilion you cannot go wrong with colored denim. A brightly hued pair of skinnies can be trendy and casual with your favorite tee or ultra sexy with the right pair of heels.
Maybe you have the perfect date, so perfect that the two of you will be attending one of the evening VIP events. With high-end spirits and gourmet culinary tastings you’ll want to find the perfect cocktail dress. Of course I’m going to suggest the LBD… but with some great detail like this Alice & Olivia ruched, frayed chiffon bustier dress.
As I’ve said many times before, a fashion show is one of the best excuses to wear your most fashionable outfit (you know the one that sits in your closet because it belongs in the pages of a fashion magazine not at the desk in your cubicle).
