New Designer Collaboration: Joseph Altuzarra for Target

Following on the heels of collaborations with such designers as Phillip Lim and Jason Wu, Target has tapped Joseph Altuzarra. Altuzarra, who is a nominee for this year’s CFDA Womenswear Designer of the Year award, is known for his attention to detail and expert tailoring, which translates into flattering feminine cuts.

“I’ve admired the elegance that Target brings to fast fashion,” Altuzarra said in a release. “By working together on this capsule collection, we hope to instill a sense of power, confidence and beauty in women everywhere.”

The 50-piece collection will include everything from thigh-high stiletto boots to slim-cut blazers that will be priced from $17.99 to $89.99. Altuzarra for Target will launch September 14 at most Target stores and target.com. A special selection of pieces will also be for sale on Net-a-Porter.com.
