Oscar de la Renta
Oscar de la Renta was one show that was much anticipated, as it was the first time the house has released a collection under new creative director Peter Coppings since de la Renta passed away in October. Tommy Hilfiger
At Tommy Hilfiger, models walked a football field runway, replete with scoreboard, yard lines and goal posts, in looks that harkened the perfect mix of prep and all-American athleticism that the brand is known for. Pleated skirts and ribbed tights were paired with chic jerseys lined with fur that were just slouchy and oversized enough. Celebrating the brand’s 30th anniversary, Hilfiger himself closed the show dancing in the end zone with a Patriots helmet in tow, while friend Robert Kraft, owner of the New England Patriots, sat FROW. Tory Burch
Bohemian and exotic are the perfect adjectives to describe Tory Burch’s fall 2015 collection. Inspired by the rich colors, prints and textures of Morocco, Burch focused on detailed wearability as models sported embroidered coats, knee-length skirts and dresses and blouses paired with Seventies-inspired neckties down a runway padded with carpets from Safavieh. Delpozo
Structured and statement-making silhouettes inspired by architecture were punctuated with pops of color at Delpozo’s fall show. Public School
Burgeoning brand Public School only seems to be getting better each season. Designers Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne showcased the label’s women’s line alongside the men’s with a strong focus on strategic layering and textures full of pleats, quilting, pulling off a very snug – yet chic – vibe.
