Gucci Heads to Tokyo for Fall

For fall, Gucci takes us through the busy, whimsical streets of Tokyo for its latest ad campaign.

The photographs, shot by Glen Luchford, follow models Petra Collins, Lia Pavlova, Polina Oganicheva, Mae Lapres, Sofia Friesen, Jack Chambers, Chistopher Paskowski, Joep Van de Sande and Yan Kumra, as they explore the Japanese city.

Gucci’s fall clothes and accessories seem to both seamlessly blend in and standout among the backdrops of luscious cherry blossoms, punchy Panchinko parlors with slot machines and one very Zen tea garden.

Perhaps Gucci’s creative director, Alessandro Michele, was inspired by “Lost in Translation,” as each photograph is accompanies by subtitles that describes the environment.

Check out the photos below and watch the models weave through Tokyo in the campaign’s official video.
