The semi-annual shopping experience Junk in the Trunk Vintage Market returns to WestWorld in Scottsdale from April 2123 for another exciting weekend featuring quality vendors, one-of-a-kind items and inspiring design. Event highlights will also include food trucks and live music from local artists.
Attendees can shop all things vintage, local and handmade in a space of over 120,000 square feet filled with over 160 small businesses from across the country offering a vast selection of clothing, jewelry, furniture, vintage, decor and much more. The Friday night shopping VIP event will take place April 21 from 4 p.m.–9 p.m., while early entry shoppers can snag their items the following day on Saturday, April 22 from 8 a.m.–10 a.m.
“Help save the planet, and buy vintage…” says Coley Arnold, Junk in the Trunk Vintage Market co-founder and owner, in a statement. “We have vendors that travel across the country picking out unique items and repurposing others. There truly are things you can’t find anywhere else. And if you aren’t into vintage, we also have new things—necklaces, jewelry, baby items, clothing, furniture, home décor, industrial pieces, and more . . .there is something for everyone.”
Since beginning as a small backyard market in 2011, the popular shopping event has supported over 3,000 small businesses and connected local artists, makers and curators with over 250,000 shoppers and vintage enthusiasts across the Southwest.
“There are so many unique items, we’re sure you’ll find something you love and that will make you smile.” says Lindsey Holt, co-founder of Junk in the Trunk Vintage Market, in a statement. “With live music, food trucks, and more, it really is a fun event. We love seeing everyone come together to support these small businesses and really enjoy themselves and this creative community.”
Local musicians who will be performing live throughout the weekend include soulful pop artist Michael Land on Friday, April 21; singer-songwriter and guitarist Lee Perreira on Saturday, April 22; and American singer-songwriter Obadiah Parker on Sunday, April 23.
The Market has also long partnered with local nonprofits to bring forth the greater good, including artist Perreira’s nonprofit, 16x16inc. Perreira, who has been performing at the Junk in the Trunk Vintage Market since its beginning in 2011, uses his platform as an endurance athlete to raise money for carefully selected charities. Since 2019, Perreira has run over 1,000 miles and raised over $55,000 for charity, helping to assist children and families in need, improving the quality of many lives in our Arizona community and inspiring others.
