On November 16 at Union Station in downtown Phoenix, guests will take their seats to watch the unveiling of four collections at the Atlas: Season V Fashion Show. This event comprises handcrafted pieces by four Arizona designers.
The show celebrates the talents of creatives looking to enter the fashion industry: Bria Ale Bleu, Jayce Candrea, Grace Walton and Sydney Headley.
“We have created a movement based on the idea that positive change is possible,” Candrea, founder of Wash the City, said in an Instagram post. “Our products are sustainable, ethical and impactful.”
Guests can purchase tickets for $35 and are asked to dress to the theme “ethereal,” meaning all-white attire emphasizing texture. The team behind the fashion show has encouraged curious patrons to find inspiration for their outfits on the Atlas Season V: Style Inspo Pinterest.
“This show isn’t just about the designers and fashion, but about getting to use the gifts that we’ve been given,” Logan Glennie, the founder and CEO of Atlas, said. “I hope that this will inspire you to utilize your gifts and pursue what you love.”
After the show, attendees are invited to a cocktail party with light snacks and drinks to meet the designers. During the after party, they can take a closer look at the pieces and purchase items straight from the runway.
“Atlas is more than just a fashion show – it’s an evening of experiences. Unlike any other, our show invites the audience to become part of the creativity with a dress code that makes every guest a part of the vision,” Designer Liaison Lily Dehaan said. “When the runway finishes, the night is far from over. The after-party offers a unique chance to mingle, enjoy live music, and shop exclusive pieces straight from the designers. At Atlas, you’re not just watching fashion; you’re living it.”
Atlas offers numerous opportunities for people to participate in designing, sponsoring, modeling, and more. The current team behind Atlas has seven members, all dedicated to the mission of accessible, authentic, and active fashion shows. Arizona Foothills is the presenting sponsor for the evening’s event.
Some designers, including Candrea, Walton, and Headley, are returning to the Atlas runway after Season IV. This is Headley’s first solo line at Atlas, where she will honor her brother Jack after losing him to suicide in 2016. All the proceeds of her collection “jck” will go to the Society for the Prevention of Teen Suicide.
