The new year ushers in some exciting news for the popular Lexus NX 300h. The first ever NX Hybrid F Sport. As is usually the case with an ‘F’ badged Lexus, this sport-focused package brings every inch of the NX 300h to a whole new level. Upgraded styling and performance is only the start. In an ultra exclusive move, only 1,000 of these F Sport models will come with the Black Line Special Edition package.
This ultra rare version of the F Sport NX will feature color-keyed over fenders, and extra bolstering in the front seats. Unique wheels come with a split-10 spoke design, are 18” in diameter and look amazing with a polished dark finish. This finish closely matches the black outside mirrors. An intentional design move to tie the Black Line look together.
Exterior colors come in Ultra White, Obsidian and Grecian Water. Each complimenting the black trim elements perfectly. The Grecian option is my clear personal favorite. A lovely royal blue color that matches the trim found in heavy amounts within the NX. Further evidence that Toyota’s talent for unconventional colors continues to pay off.
On the inside, copious amounts of stitching in that familiar dark blue are everywhere you look. On the seats, doors and center console. Perfectly replicating the blue trim around the floor matts and elsewhere in the cabin. Metallic Sport trim adorns the interior. Set to the black seats, perforated leather and dark headliner above to set a clear tone of upscale sportiness.
To sweeten the deal a little more, each proud new owner of the 2021 NX 300h F Sport Black Line will receive a set of Zero Halliburton travel cases. Embossed with the Lexus badge. This special lightweight collection of luggage includes silky fabric lining, with the iconic Lexus grille motif.
The Lexus NX 300h is a popular choice all on its own for its aggressive styling, dynamic performance, polished interior and day-to-day utility. Not to mention its hybrid levels of fuel economy. The Black Line edition will guarantee an impressive level of rarity you wouldn’t typically expect to get from an upscale Toyota. All at a price that’s far more approachable than such a limited production would lead you believe is possible.
