Cinco de Mayo is almost here—can you smell the tequila? This year’s Cinco de Mayo festival in Downtown Phoenix will mark the 23rd year of celebrations. Cinco Phoenix is one of the largest multicultural festivals in Arizona and the city’s yearly celebration full of food, drinks, games, entertainment and more, all amidst the bustling scene of downtown. This year’s two day festival is highlighted with scholarship giveaways, ballet folklorico, kid’s zone with interactive rides and games, traditional food and drinks, and a slew of giveaways. Gates open at 2 p.m. on Saturday and 12 p.m. on Sunday.
