On April 29 and 30 at 8 p.m., Damian McGinty will take the stage at The Listening Room in Downtown Phoenix for “The Slow Dance Tour.” Known for his role on Glee as foreign exchange student Rory, McGinty was also a part of the inaugural cast of Celtic Thunder and has shot to international fame in recent years.
In 2007, McGinty joined the inaugural cast of Celtic Thunder where he performed in six specials for television and completed four coast-to-coast tours of the U.S. and Canada. Shortly after he won The Glee Project which earned him a guest star role on the hit TV series, Glee. Initially scheduled to appear in just seven episodes, he was so popular that he finished out the rest of season three. Now, McGinty is on his biggest solo tour to date and will showcase music and behind-the-scenes insights from his upcoming EP of original songs.
Performing The Listening Room, the acoustic performance will provide guests with an up-close-and-personal experience where he will showcase his Irish singing and songwriting.
