Fans of the newly debuted Élephante in Scottsdale may also be familiar with Bar Bambino. If not, we’re here to explain!
Bar Bambino is an exclusive, tucked-away cocktail lounge for elevated late-night drinks and bites. After stepping through the curtained entryway, guests discover a sophisticated bar with a nightly live DJ and a sleek curved bronze-scallop bar beneath a central chandelier and retro mirrored ceiling.
Beverage offerings at Bar Bambino include unique cocktails, espresso martinis, featured champagnes and wines by the glass. Chosen by Nick Mathers and his team at Wish You Were Here Restaurant Group – which operates Élephante and Bar Bambino – the hidden lounge takes its name from the Italian word for baby, an allusion to the bar being a baby “Élephante.”
“Bar Bambino is an escape, where people can go to have a drink with a really cool vibe,” Mathers said. “It’s the perfect spot to check out after dinner, when you’re not quite ready to go home. It’s a sophisticated lounge with nice cocktails and snacks that go along with a DJ and an overall fun energy.”
Bar Bambino also offers tableside Cocktail Cart Service, including a classic martini service prepared with add-ons such as a caviar pairing or shaken cocktails, to elevate the traditional bottle experience. The lounge also offers a small food menu with items such as lobster rolls, tuna tartare, arancini, caviar toast and more.
Signature cocktails, crafted by VP of Beverage Julien Callela, include the La Bambina, made with with vodka, della sirene rosso, lemon, pear, ginger, blue spirulina, and sparkling water; a Maple Wood Smoked Old Fashioned featuring private select barrel bourbon, apricot, demerara, angostura, lemon and orange oils; and the Deconstructed Bellini. Bar Bambino plans to expand its hours of operation and programming offerings. For more, visit barbambino.com.
