With the arrival of a New Year means another Phoenix Open is on the horizon and the Birds Nest is welcoming big names once again. This year “The People’s Major,” as the Phoenix Open has come to be known, is taking place Jan. 29 through Feb. 4. But as any previous attendee knows, this golf tournament is just as much a party as it is a PGA TOUR event. The iconic, raucous 16th hole has only grown in size and is the perfect daytime alternative to the tournament’s accompanying nightlife at the Birds Nest, a music venue located directly across the street where each year the featured artists only seem to get better and better.
This year the Birds Nest will be rocking out with a variety of genres including Flo Rida (who appeared at last year’s Birds Nest), Florida Georgia Line, OneRepublic (pictured) and Zedd headlining Saturday.
