Although Black Sabbath lyrics are dark with frequent references to Satan, Ozzy noticeably has a special admiration for his fans. He looks out into the crowd with an excited, warm smile, almost like a parent to his grown child. It’s apparent when Ozzy performs that this is what he loves. He’s comfortable, maybe at times a little too comfortable, but he’s at home.

He’s such a sweet and charming soul – how on earth has he kept the innocence given the amazing career he’s had.
