This Friday, November 6, roundup all your canned foods and head down to Downtown Phoenix Civic Space Park for the Live & Local Charity Festival. The festival is presented by KASC – Blaze Radio and kicks off the third annual canned food drive in support of the society of Saint Vincent de Paul. In addition to collecting canned foods, the festival will also feature live music. Performers include Laura Walsh, LordPHX, Sugahbeat, Janelle Loes, Soul Country and DJ Malcolm. While there is no entry fee, you must bring three canned foods to gain access into the festival and bringing five will enter you into a drawing to win either a prize pack of giveaways or a meet and greet with the performers.
The festival is in association with Phoenix 50, ASU PAB, ASU Downtown USGD and the ASU Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication.
The giving will take place from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
