Indie-pop three-piece Lydia has spent the last year preparing their new record set to release in the fall and getting ready to tour, something they haven’t done in over a year. Arizona based, the band was started in 2003 in Gilbert and is comprised of Leighton Antelman, Matt Keller, and Justin Camacho. Their upcoming album is one to look forward to and fans attending the concert can definitely expect to hear a preview of it. Lead vocalist Leighton describes recording their new album as “totally unreal” and “one of the best songwriting experiences that I’ve had the pleasure to be apart of.” May 15 Lydia will be taking over Crescent Ballroom for their first time playing in Arizona in 2015. The band will be touring with The Early November for a full US tour. “We’ll be on the road with these guys for all of May and playing an upcoming track from our new record coming out this fall,” says Leighton, “Can’t wait to see all the locals in Phoenix!”
