A new Phoenix restaurant and bar will satisfy the country in you. Located at High Street, the new Cowboys Saloon is an American bar and grill full of all the classics. The Florida-born brand made its way to Phoenix where the previous Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar was located. All 14,300-square-foot were completely renovated and opened in January. Rustic wood floors and chairs mixed with tin roofs over the bar and booth areas and longhorn skull decor make up the casual atmosphere of the spacious interior.
By day, the saloon is a restaurant with classics like burgers, ribs and cornbread along with surprising (and tasty) items like sweet and spicy grilled shrimp and bacon jam bruschetta. By night, the restaurant turns into a country-style bar complete with a large dance floor and stage for live music. The rectangular bar is located in the center of the restaurant giving thirsty line-dancers an opportunity to grab a beer from any angle.
Nighttime events include themed nights, concerts, contests, nightly specials and more. The restaurant also has weekly happy hour from 3-7 p.m. when you can guzzle down half-priced southern mojitos, draft beers and more. Head to Cowboys Saloon on April 1 for Brothers Osborne at 8 p.m. and on April 28 Eric Paslay will take the stage for ladies’ night.
