Arizona’s oldest night-road race is taking place Saturday, May 9 in Tempe. Formerly known as “Night Run for the Arts,” The Night Run 2015 is benefiting the Tempe Center for the Arts, which runners will get a chance to zoom by during the race. The course takes runners around Tempe Town Lake, Tempe Center for the Arts, Tempe Beach Park, the beautiful pedestrian bridge, and Mill Avenue. Everyone is invited to come and racers can choose to participate in the 5K, 8K, or Kid’s Dash (8 and under). All participants receive medals, T-shirts, and a goody bag. Additional entertainment will be on site including a prize wheel, booth vendors, and an owl exhibit from Liberty Wildlife. Grab your Nikes and sign up.
