A barbeque is nothing without some country music and this year, the Great American Barbeque & Beer Festival will feature superstar Rodney Atkins. The main stage will also welcome Jerrod Niemann, Jordan Davis, Georgia Chrome and Honeygirl for even more country entertainment. Atkins boasts six No. 1 singles, four studio LPs and more than 10 million units sold. His most recent album Take A Back Road features his fastest rising single to date with the title track.
The festival’s entertainment doesn’t stop there. An additional stage will play host to second headliner, Tennessee-raised Russell Dickerson, plus additional supporting acts including Ryan Sims, Laura Walsh, Pick & Holler and Jim Bachmann & the Day Drinkers. You may recognize Dickerson from his hit song “Yours,” which hit No. 1 on the Country Airplay Billboard charts this past January.
Celebrating its 9th annual year, the festival’s sweet and smoky smells will fill Downtown Chandler on Saturday, March 24 and will feature more than 40 pitmasters from local, regional and national restaurants and BBQ competition teams. From slow-smoked, fall-off-the-bone meats to comfort side dishes, the festival will bring out the best in American flavors. There will also be more beer, wine and spirit selections including vodka, whiskey and bourbon than previous years.
Along with plenty of live music, guests can also enjoy live cooking demos, art installations, themed bars, interactive games, creative cocktails, a mechanical bull riding competition, local community entertainment, eating competition, march madness lounge, expanded kids zone, and the return of the Corral zone and VIP area for country music fans and guests looking to elevate their festival experience.
A variety of tickets are available including general admission and multiple VIP options.
