The infamous Scott Weiland is about to make waves in Old Town Scottsdale this weekend for a show of some good old rock and roll with a forecast calling for head banging. He and his band, Scott Weidland and The Wildabouts hit Livewire Friday night for their first appearance as a band here in Scottsdale.
“I really look forward to playing in front of our fans and I’m going to put out a 200% show without a doubt,” says Weiland.
The passionate performer, known for his extreme energy and eclectic performances on stage, began his love for singing with the good-old choir in the first grade. At 16-years-old he formed his first band that eventually transcended into being signed by his first major record label.
Now, as a seasoned professional Weidland balances a busy music-filled life with personal writing and production, his own Lavish Studios, and his main focus – The Wildabouts.
Venturing on an international tour through 2015 with new music in plans for the future, Weidland says that the band’s chemistry together keeps their electric rock and roll band unique. “We have chemistry that works great together and we put on a really amazing, full-throttle show.”
