We’ll take any excuse to sip wine all night long, but if it means benefiting charity—pass us a bottle. Valley of the Sun Active 20-30 Club’s annual Wine Soirée fundraising event is taking place Friday, November 18 at Livewire in Old Town Scottsdale. The sophisticated event, now in its ninth year, benefits children’s charities through the club’s very own charitable arm, Valley Kids Foundation. Last year alone, the event raised more than $30,000 for children’s charities, and with highlights like diamond raffles and wine tastings, it’s no surprise.
This year’s semi-formal event will dazzle all the same with five wine tastings of 10 different wines to choose from, along with hors d’oeuvres to snack on, dancing, live entertainment and a fun photo booth to capture the evening. The event will also feature a live auction and raffle, plus a champagne and diamond raffle. Feel free to spend to your heart’s content; all proceeds from the event will benefit a variety of children’s charities including Child Crisis Arizona, Phoenix Children’s Hospital Foundation, Florence Crittenton, New Pathways for Youth, STEP: Student Expedition Program, FANS Across America, Mission of Mercy Arizona, Camp SWIFT and more.
Designed for professional women ages 20-39, the Valley of the Sun Active 20-30 Club offers a place for personal growth, friendship and leadership development and the chance to do good in the community, with its non-profit organization Valley Kids Foundation.
