Cocktails and puppers. Is there a better combo? On Tuesday, April 30 from 5 to 7 p.m., W Scottsdale is hosting its Cocktails and Dog Tails Adoption Event and Happy Hour, because nothing goes better with a vodka soda than puppy kisses.
The event is in partnership with Tito’s Handmade Vodka and HALO (Helping Animals Live On) Animal Rescue, who’s given homes to more than 68,000 dogs and cats, while offering them the care and comfort needed as they search for new families. Now celebrating its 25th anniversary, HALO has teamed up with W Scottsdale for a fun night with four-legged friends.
The evening will include furball meet-and-greets, pet adoptions, specialty cocktails and raffle prizes, all in support of homeless pets. Taking place on Sunset Lawn, guests can sip custom-made Tito’s cocktails while bonding with Fido and eventually finding that fur-ever friend to take home, with the chance to begin the adoption process, all with cocktail in hand.
Admission to Cocktails and Dog Tails is complimentary but direct donations to the shelter are encouraged. Guests will also be able to enter a raffle to win “Tito’s Handmade Vodka for Dog People Swag.” All proceeds from the event and raffle will benefit HALO Animal Rescue and support life-saving care for adoptable pets.
Need another incentive to scoop up a pup to take home? Probably not, but just in case. All furry friends adopted at the event are welcome back for another fun adventure at W Scottsdale through the hotel’s Pets Are Welcome (P.A.W.) Program.
