Join more than 150 big leaguers on Thursday, Feb. 22 at Karts and Guitars, Athletes Brand’s 5th annual spring training baseball event taking place at Brat Haus in Old Town Scottsdale. The open-to-the-public, all-ages event will celebrate the kick off to Spring Training 2018 and welcome players and fans for spring baseball’s biggest player attended event.

This year, the event will take a fun turn with a 16-player Mario Kart 64 tournament with 16 different big leaguers competing for the title of “Baseball’s Best Mario Kart Player.” Some of the participating players include Hunter Pence (San Francisco), Scooter Gennett (Cincinnati), Liam Hendriks (Oakland) and more. The night will be topped off with an acoustic concert performed by local band Christopher Shayne Band from 6 to 10 p.m.

The evening will be an opportunity for guests to mix and mingle with baseball players, pro athletes, college coaches, NFL and Olympic athletes, musicians and actors. Some of the baseball players expected to attend include Dee Gordon, Trevor Bauer, Jake Diekman, Yasmani Grandal, Rob Refsnyder and more.

General admission tickets are $50 and include food (think gourmet brats, sliders, soft pretzels, fries, salad and more) and non-alcoholic drinks served by Brat Haus. Alcoholic beverages will be available to purchase at the bar. VIP tickets will also be available and include access to the player’s lounge and additional goodies.

The evening will be hosted by Athletes Brand, a locally based fashion brand providing products crafted by world-class athletes for fellow athletes and a space focused on improving athletes’ lives beyond their sport. The evening will also serve as the launch of their new brand Refined Craft, a fashion brand featuring products designed by creatives with a platform to help raise money and awareness.

All proceeds (100% of every ticket sold) from Karts and Guitars will benefit Alice Cooper’s Solid Rock Teen Center in Arizona.
