If you’re looking to spook yourself to death this season, why not come face-to-face with the star of one of the creepiest movies to boot: Stephen King’s It: Chapter 1 and It: Chapter 2. Jackson Robert Scott, who played Georgie in the movie (and starred in the skin-crawling flick The Prodigy and more), is visiting Fear Farm and 13th Floor this season for autographs and photos. Who knows, maybe he’ll even summon Pennywise while he’s there?
The young actor will be at Fear Farm on Oct. 12 at 8 p.m. and at 13th Floor on Oct. 25 at 8:30 p.m. For cash only, guests can get an autograph ($30), a cell phone photo with him ($30) or a combo of both ($40).
Fear Farm
The appearance is an added element of haunted celebration as Fear Farm celebrates its 20th year of fear with updates, upgrades and new nightmares. Returning this season, The Reaping, a 50-acre haunted corn maze, will be packed with chainsaw-wielding maniacs, demented clowns, chupacabras and other horrors. Other top-rated horrors include the Bunker — The Arrival, based on the Phoenix Lights of 1997; Slaughterhouse, a spooky story of a former Phoenix family; Legends of the Pumpkin Witch, a creature-focused haunt; Fallout, a post-apocalyptic world; and The Plague, featuring abhorrent new techniques and medicine being practiced.
13th Floor
For indoor scares, 13th Floor is the largest in North America, with more than 60,000 square feet of thrills and chills. This year features updates and upgrades throughout like new sets, lighting and special effects. Award-winning 13th Floor has continuously been recognized for its level of spook, being named the best in Phoenix and gaining national attention from the Travel Channel, MTV, Discovery Channel, MSN and Haunt World Top 13.
