Sunny’s Lounge Has Transformed into a Spooky Spectacle for Halloween

Sunny’s Lounge has transformed into a haunted paradise with Black Lagoon, where eerie enchantment meets devilishly delicious cocktails until October 31. Imagine an immersive world where the bar is cloaked in cobwebs, illuminated by flickering candlelight, and haunted by Sunny’s resident ghost, Loretta. Ask the bartenders – they know all about her.

“We welcome any challengers in Phoenix to try and top what we’ve planned at Sunny’s Lounge,” Mat Snapp, Partner at Barter & Shake, said. “We’re crafting an experience that’s delightfully dark and dangerously fun. You’ll want to come back for more.”

Dreamed up by industry wizards Erin Hayes and Kelsey Ramage, Black Lagoon promises to elevate any grown-up Halloween experience with enchanting and chilling cocktails. These include:

Nosferatu’s Rise: A blend of Coconut Oil Lot 40, Lustau Amontillado Sherry, Cinnamon Syrup, Bitter Queens Caribbean Bitters, and a touch of Saline.

Hex Appeal: Fords Gin meets Honeydew Cordial, Lustau Vermut Dry, Lemon Juice, Seltzer, Absinthe, and Chlorophyll for a potion that’s both refreshing and spellbinding.

Memento Mori: Mezcal Union, Mr. Black Coffee Liqueur, Cruzan Blackstrap Rum, Cold Brew Concentrate, Giffard Banane, Lustau Amontillado, and a dash of Bitter Queens Chinese 5 Spice.

Blood Lust (N/A): A non-alcoholic elixir of Giffard Sirop, Miso Falernum, Rooibos Tea, Lemon Juice, and Ginger Beer.

“With Black Lagoon’s hauntingly creative cocktails and our own signature Halloween drinks, Sunny’s Lounge will definitely be buzzing with all your eerie festivities,” Director of Operations Cortnie Cozeck said.
