1. Georgia Chrome at Whiskey Row
Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row is one of the hottest country bars in the Valley, with live music performances every Thursday night from Georgia Chrome. Pull out your cowboy boots, and prepare to two step the night away listening to this rockin’ country band. 2. Burlesque Evenings
Does mixing and mingling while being soothed by sultry, sexy four-piece vintage jazz and blues sound appealing? Enjoy a Burlesque show at W Scottsdale Thursday, June 5 at 9 p.m. in the Living Room at W Scottsdale for a night to remember. Dancers will perform three to five, thirty minute routines throughout the evening. The band will cover hits from movies such as Moulin Rouge, Chicago and Burlesque. Complimented by live soulful jazz music, come out for a Burlesque show this Thursday! Doors open at 8 p.m., and the event is open to those 21 and older.

3. Talking Stick Resort Parties
Another epic series of summer pool parties at the Talking Stick Resort is coming to the Valley this summer! The parties will run every weekend throughout the summer, and will feature live DJs, food, cocktail specials, concerts and more. Admission is free on most weekends. Parties will take place from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. until September.

4. Funk & Soul at Midnight
Funk & Soul at Midnight will return to the Crescent Ballroom this Friday from 11:30 p.m. until 2 a.m. DJ Seduce will hit the stage as partygoers dance to a mixture of Motown, soul and funk. There is also a selection of Honey Badger cocktails and craft beers!

5. Phoenix Comicon
Phoenix Comicon will return to the Valley from June 5-8. The festival will give comic book fans the chance to meet and get autographs from their comic book heroes. The event will also feature a film festival. Thursday will go from 6:30 p.m.-11:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday will go from 10:30 a.m.-11:30 p.m. and Sunday will go from 10:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Tickets are priced at $15 to $85 per day and children are free.

If you’re in the Comicon spirit, you also might want to stop by the comicon party at Tongue Tied, a comicon-inspired party at Apollo’s Lounge. No tickets are necessary. The party will take place on Saturday, June 7 from 9 p.m.-2 a.m. Tickets will cost $5 after 9:30 p.m.
6. Pierre’s Comedy Slam 10
Comedian Pierre Edwards will present his annual Comedy Slam event. The event is presented by UrbanAZ. The show will also feature artists Joe Clair, Talent, Coolaide and Chastity Washington. Club doors will open at 6:45 p.m., theater doors will open at 7:45 p.m. and the show begins at 8:45 p.m. Don’t miss this night filled with laughter!

7. Lionel Richie Concert

This Sunday, June 8 at 7:30 p.m., Lionel Riche will hit the stage at the Ak-Chin Pavilion. Lionel Riche is an American singer-songwriter, musician, record producer and actor who has sold more than 100 million records world wide. The five-time Grammy award winner will be joined by Cee Lo Green.

8. Beer-BQ at the Brat Haus
One of Old Town Scottsdale’s best restaurants is set to host the barbecue party of the weekend. Come to the Brat Haus on June 4 at at 7 p.m. for delicious barbecue. From ribs, to heirloom salad, to fried oysters, your taste buds will surely be satisfied. The evening is priced at $24.95.

9. In Tha Spotlight Thursdays Grand Opening
This Thursday, June 5 from 8 p.m.- 2 a.m. will mark the first of Thursdays at Seay’s Place. The evening will include appearances by celebrity host JazMone Adams from “Bad Girls Club: Miami 2013,” live DJ Dark Vader and comedian Dwayne Mooney. The event will become a Thursday must-attend on the first and third Thursdays of the month.
