Before we know it, turkey’s will be eaten, presents will be opened and the Times Square ball will have dropped, welcoming in our next year of life. With the start of a new year, quickly comes one of the Valley’s most exciting events: Waste Management Phoenix Open. The week long event seems to grow by the year with visitors from all over the country flocking to the North Scottsdale course to experience a tournament like no other. The mildly-cool temperatures, raucous 16th-hole and sophisticated Scottsdale vibes make the tournament breeding grounds for top entertainment, which is what visitors can expect this year at the Coors Light Birds Nest, the wildly popular entertainment venue. This year, Rascal Flatts, Dierks Bentley and Robin Thicke are slated to perform Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evening respectively. The Saturday performer has yet to be announced, but with such talent-packed performances leading up to Saturday, it’s hard to think it will be anyone less than thrilling.
