Maxime Simoens
Another young designer who has been receiving quite a lot of spotlight is Maxime Simoens, a Paris-based designer. He introduced his fall collection as Haute Couture and was receiving mixed reviews on whether or not it really is. One thing for sure though is that it was still an overall magnificent season for this new designer. Simoens unveiled gothic inspired silhouettes with geometrical cuts, intricate details and chandelier necklaces. Black-white-red colorblocking was seen throughout the collection as well.
