It’s not often that free health care treatments and checkups are available, so when they are it’s something we all need to take advantage of!
Hosted by AZ Podiatric Medical Association and a team of doctors, the whole family can attend a free foot health screening event.
This “back to school” foot screening event will help family members detect misaligned feet, which can lead to growing pains and further damage throughout the entire body.
“When you have misaligned feet, it forces the body to compensate by putting excessive strain on the heels, ankles, knees, hips and back, often leading to pain in these areas,” said Dr. Alan Discont, President of the Arizona Podiatric Medical Association. “Your feet are literally the foundation of your body and should be the first check point for pain.”
This 10 minute foot check up absolutely free and will even include a gift of one-hour all-access jumping courtesy of Jumpstreet. Attendees will also be given the chance to win several valuable prizes, including the grand prize of a two-night vacation package at the JW Marriot Desert Ridge for a family of four. This amazing deal is valued at $689.
The event is sponsored by GraMedica, a global orthopedic device company. Dr. Michael E. Graham, podiatric surgeon, founder and president of GraMedica, says he hopes the free foot health-check will encourage families to take part in the 10-minute, kid-friendly screening.
