On Saturday January 23 from 10a – 12p at the gorgeous Omni Montelucia, AZ Foothills will be celebrating the start of a fresh, healthy New Year and re-launch of AZ Foothills Fitness Online. Top trainer, AZ Foothills fitness guru, and creator of the Mixx Method, Shandi Rooney will take participants through the ultimate fitness experience. From first-timers to experienced athletes, all levels are welcome and encouraged to join the calorie-scorching fun.
Shandi’s Mixx Method combines the most evolved and cutting edge forms of exercise to maximize calorie burn and sculpt the entire body by systematically mixing various elements of fitness in a one hour, true hybrid technique. Her unique functional training has been described as a combination of “the cardio rush you get from running or spinning, the muscle alignment and core strength you get from Pilates, the coordination and muscle alignment you see from dance, and the flexibility and range of motion you achieve from Yoga.”
After sweating out the old, participants will breathe in the new with a calming yoga series lead by Holly Zacchino, founder of Goddess Yoga, a fusion of yoga and dynamic movement. Held on the gorgeous Valencia Lawn at Omni Motelucia attendees will also enjoy a juice bar, retail pop up shops, fun photo ops, contests with prize giveaways, and more. Guests are invited to stay after the event to refuel at one of the Montelucia’s premiere restaurants who will be offering special discounts to attendees only.
