Mental Health Center of America (MHCA), a renowned provider of comprehensive mental health care services, has announced the grand opening of its second Valley location in Mesa.

Starting June 12, the new location will cater to individuals from all walks of life, offering a wide range of mental health treatment options to care for various mental health needs.

“We are excited to expand our mental health services to the Mesa community in a time of desperate need,” says Dr. Soffia Palsdottir, Chief Psychologist at Mental Health Center of America. “Our team of highly skilled and compassionate professionals is committed to helping patients overcome mental health challenges and improve their overall quality of life. With our new clinic, we can reach more individuals and provide them with the care they need to thrive.”

Spanning 7,500 square feet, this innovative facility will revolutionize care options, providing 11 patient rooms, two neurofeedback areas, a wellness center, a private red light room, a patient kitchen and more.

MHCA is well known for providing customized treatment plans tailored for the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, professionals and caregivers struggling with a variety of conditions, including anxiety, depression, stress, trauma and more. The organization’s commitment to personalized care sets them apart, ensuring that each client receives the individual attention they deserve.

One of the specializations MHCA is uniquely known for is their exceptional care for first responders who face unique mental health stressors on a daily basis. Unfortunately, individuals in these professions often encounter significant challenges in finding adequate treatment that truly addresses and understands their specific needs.

Co-Founder Jason Law started MHCA after his own experiences battling with mental health as a firefighter. MHCA’s clinic professionals possess a deep understanding of the trauma first responders face and are uniquely equipped to support and assist these individuals. By actively collaborating with fire departments and police agencies, MHCA is actively working to bridge the treatment gap and meet their unique needs.

In addition to personalized treatment, MHCA’s mission also centers on making mental healthcare affordable and easily accessible. To achieve this goal, the organization has partnered with dozens of insurers to ensure a wide range of coverage options. MHCA has also designed their services to be affordable for those without insurance, ensuring access for anyone who may need it..

At the new clinic, patients can expect to be welcomed into a warm environment that prioritizes their comfort and privacy while delivering top-tier treatment. The clinic offers a range of evidence-based treatments, including psychiatric services, medication management, neurofeedback, wellness, cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, counseling and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). These treatments ensure a comprehensive approach tailor made for each patient.
